Please Help With A Donation

  • £150 pays for the costs of one young person to visit the Youth Café for a year
  • £12 sponsors them for one month
  • The Youth Café relies almost entirely on charitable giving
  • The service we provide is free
  • We currently work with over 200 young people

Providing volunteer work for older teenagers to increase confidence, self- esteem, responsibility and promote themselves as positive role models. Offering a range of indoor and outdoor activities including climbing, camping, and kayaking, usually at little or no cost to the young people. Integrating disadvantaged young people and those with learning difficulties, helping to improve social skills. Raising drugs and alcohol awareness by working with Y Smart who provide young peoples drug and alcohol services in Devon. Signposting young people to information regarding smoking, sexual health and healthy eating. Offering support and help regarding employment advice and preparing CV's working in partnership with Careers South West. Involving young people in projects within the wider community of Bovey Tracey to break down barriers and challenge misconceptions. Above all, we aim to provide a place where young people can meet on their terms in a safe setting.
